New Book for The Wine or Quote Lover
Wine and Sweet Words, a compilation of quotes that everyone will find enjoyable has just released.

Richmond, Virginia -- Author Margot Dillard has used her knowledge of wine and enjoyment of quotes, sayings and toasts to create an enticing book; Wine and Sweet Words. Since Margot first began gathering quotes, idioms, and toasts from the greats of literature and the unknown, she has found a niche by interlacing wine history with these wise words. Her inspiration for the title was the quote from Plautus, a Roman playwright, from more than 2000 years ago he wrote, “Let us celebrate the occasion with wine and sweet words.”
The result of her efforts--a book that captures and presents quotes from thousands of years ago to current wine witticisms of today. Margot has identified wine topics and presented them in chapters that include: The Essence of Wine, Maturing is for Wine, Prescription for Health, Here’s to Happiness, Indulge a Little and many other enjoyable chapters.
”Putting together these idioms and quotes on drinking wine, along with a little encouragement from my favorite Virginia crushed grapes urged me to share some of my own poems and thoughts,” according to Margot. Wine and Sweet Words is now available at major online booksellers, including Amazon.com and BarnesandNoble.com. Margot will be scheduling book signing at Virginia wineries and book stores in the next several months, as well as attending the Virginia Wine Expo on February 26th, 2010.
